Bread in a Bag

Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour
1 pkg. rapid rise yeast
3 Tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons nonfat dry milk powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup hot water
3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 (gallon size) heavy duty ziplock bag


Instructions

1. In ziplock bag, put 1 cup all purpose flour, yeast, sugar, nonfat dry milk, and salt.
Close bag and shake.

2. Put hot water and oil in bag. Close tightly, pressing out all air and mix thoroughly,
working dough with fingers.

3. Add whole wheat flour. Close bag and mix.

4. Add rest of flour and knead bag until mixture pulls away from bag.

5. Knead for 2-4 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes.

6. Roll out to 12" x 7" rectangle. Roll up from narrow end. Place in loaf pan.

7. Let rise for 20 minutes. Bake in 375° oven for 25 minutes.
