Ipomoea pes-caprae (Goatfoot, Beach Morning-Glory) |
![]() |
This coastal vine protects sand dunes. The shape of the leaf resembles the footprint of a goat and the flowers, which are open in the morning, are bell shaped. It is often found growing with the beach pea, but is dominant closer to the water. It is sometimes used in medicinal baths. (Due to form, this species is not tagged.) |
