The Virgin Islands Marine Advisory Service (VIMAS), a part of the University of Puerto Rico Sea Grant College Program, is located within the Center for Marine and Environmental Studies (CMES) at the University of the Virgin Islands. VIMAS was established on the St. Thomas campus of UVI in 1984 and on St. Croix in 1990.

VIMAS publishes the Nonpoint Source Pollution: An Education Module.  Reach its web page here for fun classroom activities focusing on the impact of nonpoint source pollution, the Virgin Islands' main contributor to water pollution.

VIMAS' own Elizabeth Ban writes a weekly column for the St. Thomas Source.  Read "Sea Scoop" Here!
