Vision

The Research and Public Serivce Component will be recognized as having outstanding, responsive research and outreach programs that strive to improve the quality of life within the US Virgin Islands and beyond. It will function as a cost effective and outcome-oriented "learninng organization" whose outputs support the mission of the University of the Virgin Islands in the areas of research and public service. The R&PS Component will have an internal culture oriented towards problem solving through cooperation and collaboration. The Component will incorporate and promote the concept that quality, demand-driven service begins and ends with the client; requires a functional relationship with suppliers; and relies on well-trained, involved personnel.
